NEW CULINARY HEIGHTS FOR CONRAD CAIRO WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF

CAIRO, Egypt - (July 11, 2010) - Conrad Cairo has appointed Chef Jarrett Beaulieu as its new Executive Chef.

Chef Beaulieu will be responsible for all kitchen operations across all 6 restaurants and cafes at the hotel including Conrad Cairo’s newly opened restaurants: Oak Grill, Kamala and Stage One.

Beaulieu’s experience stems back to his studies at Vancouver Island University in Canada from which he graduated in 1989. He then went on to apprentice at the Hilton Toronto with Master Chef Albert Schnell. In 1997, Chef Beaulieu landed the Executive Sous Chef position at the Abu Dhabi Hilton. Following his role at the Abu Dhabi Hilton, his career progressed within the Hilton Hotels brand in the UAE before joining the Conrad in Singapore. Chef Beaulieu continued to excel and gain experience in kitchens in Finland, Canada, Switzerland and Abu Dhabi where he and his team won the gold medal in Salon Culinaire Dubai for Gastronomic Excellence in 2003. He was also appointed Group Executive Chef to five hotels in Kenya and was responsible for the repositioning and re-branding of the hotels’ restaurants.
