Safir Hotel & Resorts had the pleasure of welcoming Sheikh Nasser

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: Safir Hotel & Resorts had the warm pleasure of welcoming His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, his Cabinet and accompanying Ministers and delegations to Failaka Island. The purpose of H.H. the Prime Minister visit to Failaka Island was to tour and discuss the importance of the Village and its future development. The General Manager of Failaka Heritage Village, Mr. Christopher Hartley and his wife Denise, have been living on the island for over six years. Failaka Heritage Village has now been in operation for six years, under the management of Safir Hotel & Resorts. Their guests can enjoy staying at one of the sixty Heritage Houses, originally built sixty years ago, now fully restored and furnished with satellite television and leisure facilities or at the Ikaros Hotel, converted from the old police garrison to a four star standard hotel room. Failaka Island is 20 kilometers off the coast of Kuwait city and can be reached by catamarans departing from Kuwait’s Marina Crescent.
